Condition: New Material: UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), black anodized aircraft grade aluminum NO CUT or plastic fairings modification requiredFit Model: Triumph2005 - 2012 Daytona 6752005 - 2008 Daytona 675RThis purchase is for a set of no-cut, no-rotation frame sliders that fit the above-mentioned make and model. The sliders are made of UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. Unlike our traditional round plastic pucks, the new pucks are completely solid and have up to three times the surface area than the round ones. This translates to a multiple-fold increase in strength. In addition, the shape of the pucks was adapted to the flow and shape of plastic fairings and the bike. This streamlines the puck as an extension of the bike whereas the round puck looks out-of-place from the rest of the bike. The bolts are made of highest grade commercially available 12.9 (177,000 psi in tensile strength). The brackets and spacers are made out of aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum and coated in a UV-resistant anodized finish. They are bolted to the frame at multiple locations to spread out the impact force and to prevent any rotation of the brackets that could damage the fairings. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.
